London Horsemanship Results

Hey Everyone!
Sorry for the delay, but I have the year end results for our riders who attended the London Horsemanship Shows this year!
A big congratulations goes to all our riders who showed this year!!
In no particular order the results are as follows:

Hopeful Hunter Division:

Fionna Campbell- 1st place
Kennedy Boughner- 3rd place

Jr. Beginner Division:

Reese Coleman- 3rd place
Taliah Shaw- 4th place

Sr. Beginner:

Peyton Vanderwyst- 1st place and High Point rider of all 4 shows!

2’3″ Division:

Claire Anderson- 1st
Susan Evans- 6th

Congratulations to everyone on all their hard work this season!!


Overall Results!

I have the Final results in for Sunset’s riders for most of the circuits. (Prelude, Trillium and “A”. Unfortunately; Horsemanship we won’t know final results until November.)
Without further delay and in no particular order, here are your results:


-Champion of the 2’3 was “Covergirl” and Kristi Hunter
-Coming in Overall 3rd place in the 2’6 division was Ashley Klassen and “Shoot for the Cure”
-Finishing in 13th place of the 2’6 with only two shows under their belts was Nicole Scott and her horse “Clairvoyance”
– Third overall in the 2’6 Jumpers was Elle Richardson and her mount “Fantasia”. Eva also had some fantastic clear rounds with her this season as well!
-Finishing 12th overall in the 2’6 Jumpers was Lauren Donker and “Belle of the Ball” with minimal shows, and she also finished in 6th place overall of the 2’9 jumpers with minimal shows!!
-Champion of the Junior Beginner division was Blaire Dawdy and her pony “Beaverwoods Butterscotch”
– Brooke Fowler and “Lady Ava” finished a hard earned 10th overall in the competitive Jr Beginner division as well.
-Lucas Fowler and his mount “Penelope” finished as Reserve Champions in the Lead Line division.
-Kristin Phillips and “Covergirl” finished a strong 3rd place overall in the Starter Division.


– Sami Dieleman and “Kelso” finished in 4th place overall of the 2’9 Modified Adult Division.
-Shannon Williams and her horse “In Omnia Paratus” had a great season full of lots of learning experiences and memorable moments.
-Ainsley Dawdy and “Slowpoke” finished in 4th place overall of the Modified Pony division.
-Taylor Feick-Bardawill and her mount for the season “Ricochet” finished in 5th place overall in the Low Hunter Division.

“A” Show Circuit

–  “Champion Charles” lived up to his name along with his Co-Pilot Emily Burton finishing as overall Champions in the 1.0 Metre Jumper Division.
-Mia Manfredi and “Memphis” had a great season pinning at least twice at every show they attended and learned a ton in the process. She showed in the Low Adult Amateur Division.
-Victoria Fellows and “Artemisia” had a fabulous season on the A’s as well, pinning many times and throughly enjoying their season.

Busy weekend for our riders as we attended both the London Horsemanship Show on Saturday and the Prelude at HSE on Sunday.

Mane Event Trillium 2016 Results

Hey Everyone,

Just a quick update for you guys today.
Mane Event in Ilderton was a long hot weekend but we all pushed through with great results.
Shannon and Cajun had some fab rounds in the jumper ring on Saturday.
Taylor and Ricochet came home with a 5th, 5th, 6th and 6th in the Low Hunters.
Ainsley and Slowpoke pinned 1st, 1st, 2nd and 2nd ending up Champion in the Modified Ponies.
Sami and Kelso rocked it in the Modified Adults with a 2nd, 4th and a 6th.

While we were at Mane Event, Emily and Charlie had a great weekend up at Angelstone ending up Reserve Champion in the 1.0 jumpers and finishing 3rd in the Classic!
Emily also catch rode a small pony and finished Champion in the small pony division.

Great job everyone!!

Fathers Day

Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads and Show Parents who support us unconditionally.
We love you and can’t thank you enough!!!

HSE II Trillium Results

HSE II Trillium Results are as follows:

Taylor and her new partner Ricochet placed quite well in the low hunters with a 1st, 2nd, 3rd and a 4th!!
Shannon and Cajun pinned a hard earned 6th place in the competitive 0.9 metre jumpers.
Ainsley and Slowpoke (Ben) pinned 1st,2nd,2nd and 2nd ending with Champion of the Modified Ponies.
Sam and Kelso had some fun in the 2’9″ Modified Adults pinning 1st and 3rd.
Wonderful job everyone!!

Also, up at the A’s for Angelstone’s first show of the series; Emily and Charlie had some great rounds, winning her speed class, pinning 4th in the mini medal, and 5th place in the combined JR/Am Classic! Great Job Emily!!

Sometimes things don’t always go as planned, but you just ride it out. 😉

End of May, Beginning of June Show Updates!

Here are some updated results for folks who are tuning in. 😉


(May 28th-29th)
Trillium HSE I has come and gone with some great results for the gang.
Nicole and Cleo received a 6th place finish in the Pleasure hack in the Hack division.
Ainsley and Ben finished with 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 7th in the Modified Pony Division.
Sam and Kelso pinned 3rd, 4th and 6th in the Modified Adults.
While some of our group was busy with Trillium, Victoria and Mischa snagged a well deserved 5th place up at the A show in Palgrave.
Emily and Charlie had a great weekend at Palgrave as well and were Reserve Champ in the 1m Jumpers! Great Job guys!


(June 5th)

Our Prelude team was out in full swing at HSE’s first prelude show of the season. It was a crazy day for weather which brought some not so favourable conditions for showing. Lots of mud and a couple downpours during the day resulting in some very wet riders, coaches and support systems. 🙂

Ashley and Cure in the 2’6″ – 1st, 3rd, 4th

Horse Show Results for the week of May 16th-23rd, 2016

This week our team was out and about to a few different shows.


Mia and Memphis received a 2nd and 3rd this week. Emily and Charlie finished Reserve Champ in the .9metre jumpers, Victoria and Mischa had some really lovely rounds as well. All these ladies were competing on the “A” Circuit in Palgrave at the Caledon Pan Am Equestrian Park.

Our Trillium Gals finished as follows:
Ainsley riding Ben pinned 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th in the Modified Pony Division.
Sam and Kelso pinned 4th in the Modified Adults.
Shannon and Cajun had some fantastic trips in the Jumpers on Saturday!!

Our Prelude riders had a great weekend too!
Blaire and Scotty pinned 1st,2nd,4th with overall reserve champ in the JR Beginner Division.
Ashley and Cure pinned 1st,2nd,3rd,4th and a 5th in the 2’3 hack and 2’6 Division.
Brooke and Ava pinned 6th in the JR Beginner.
Kristen and Allie pinned 1st,4th,4th in the Starter Division.
Kristi and Allie pinned 5th,5th,6th in the 2’3 Division.
Grace and Jesse pinned 2nd,4th,5th in the 2’6 Jumper Division.

First Trillium Show of the 2016 Season

That’s a wrap for the first South West Trillium show of the season at Highland Green Stable for us here at Sunset.
Congrats to all our riders who participated! Shannon and Ainsley did great and Sami ended on a great note with Champion in the Mods!

Highland Green Prelude, April 2016

April 25th, 2016

A huge congratulations goes out to all our riders who participated in the Prelude show this past weekend. Hard work sure pays off and it shows.
Here are the results of our riders from this weekend:

Brooke riding Ava earned a 2nd place ribbon in the JR Beginner over fences.


Blaire riding Scottie earned two 3rd place ribbons over fences in the JR Beginner and a 5th in the under saddle finishing Reserve Champion of her division.


Grace riding Jesse earned two 4th place ribbons in the 2’6″ jumper division.
